Product Overview
We support robotic arm parts, dexterous hand grippers and humanoid assemblies across the whole development cycle: printed and machined samples while the mechanism is still moving, then production tooling once the geometry is frozen. Robotics programmes iterate fast, so the tooling has to be able to follow.
Robot parts are usually lightweight, often overmoulded for grip, and almost always needed in small batches first. That combination is exactly what our additive, machining and molding capabilities side by side are for.
What we make
- Robotic arm links, end effectors and gripper fingers
- Dexterous hand assemblies with overmoulded soft-touch pads
- Humanoid robot structural shells and covers
- Sensor housings, mounts and cable management parts
Development route
- Printed or machined samples in days to prove fit and function
- Bridge production in the production resin while the tool is cut
- Production tool in NAK80 or S136 once the design is frozen
- Overmolding of TPE grip pads and sealing lips where the part is handled
Material is selected to your drawing. The grades listed are the ones we run most often for this type of part; we confirm the choice at DFM rather than assuming it.
