Custom Deep Drawn Stamping Parts

These parts are formed by continuous deep drawing in a progressive die: a flat blank goes in, and the cup, the flange, the pierced holes and the embossed ribs come out in one stroke sequence without manual handling between stations. Because the strip stays located in the same die, concentricity between the drawn body, the flange holes and the centre bore is held part to part.

The photo shows two drawn cups with a stepped body and a pierced flange, and two shallow drawn rings with formed ribs and small pierced holes. Typical uses are motor housings, lamp reflectors, sensor caps, bearing seats, pulley blanks and filter covers.
