Product Overview

We mould personal care and cosmetic packaging, from a single colour-matched sample through to volume production. Consumer parts live or die on the surface, so the cavity steel, the texture and the gate position are chosen for the visible face rather than for the dimension alone.

What we control on a consumer part

  • Colour matching to your master panel or Pantone reference, from a single masterbatch lot so the colour does not drift between batches
  • Texture or high-gloss cavity work in the steel grade the finish needs
  • Gate and vent layout so no weld line crosses the visible face
  • Ejection designed so the part leaves the tool without stress whitening

Decoration

  • In-mold labelling and in-mold decoration for graphics that must survive handling
  • Pad printing and screen printing for logos and scales
  • Laser engraving for part numbers and 2D codes
  • Painting, UV coating and chrome plating for metallic effects

Material is selected to your drawing. The grades listed are the ones we run most often for this type of part; we confirm the choice at DFM rather than assuming it.
